The Shoes off My Feet

December 22, 2017 by J.B.

As the saying goes, if you really care for someone you’d give them the shirt off your back. For Jamie, it’s going to have to be the shoes off your feet.

It’s a good friend that will give you the boots off of their feet.

I guess that is a lesson learned, when visiting the sanctuary in boots be sure and bring an extra pair of shoes. What a good friend that was.

It goes without saying, your blog posts feed my soul every single day. The loop continues and spins thanks to your amazing ability to connect with all of us. Reading about, viewing your amazing photos, being viewers of your amazing videos, keeps the infinity loop going. I remember when dear Burrito would not venture out onto Young’s Hill at all. Look how far he has come! Burrito now has his very groovy “Burrito Hop” when roaming the Hill. I am so proud of him, to go out on his own with J.B. and patrol his home is a big courageous step. I admire this guy so much, and I love more than I could imagine.

Thank you Burrito for bringing me hope and laughter when I need it. Right now I am so deeply worried about my friends and my old home of Santa Barbara, CA. Times seem so dark right now and your courage gives me hope. You also make me laugh and I need a good laugh right about now so thanks! You have taught me to never give up.

PS: Just wanted to let you know I received my 2018 CSNW Wall Calendar from Zazzle the other day! Can’t tell you how much I enjoy your calendars and this years looks amazing. There is no better to keep track of the passing days, the monthly photos make me smile every single day. Twelve months of HOPE, LOVE, and an appreciation for what it means to find HOME. Love it!!! 😀

Oh my word. Jamie was so cute and the gal that gave her her boots is awesome. I just love getting the videos. They make me smile to see how well they are being cared for and how much they are loved by you and so many others.
