December 12, 2017 by Anna

A slow, quiet day in the chimp house seems like the perfect opportunity to dig through our digital files and share a few unseen portraits of the chimpanzees!

The photo of Jamie is quite haunting. It’s as if there is some dark rememberance there, that only she holds. It’s another sign of her high intelligence, I think. There is something very primordial and almost sad in her eyes. Do you see it?

What beautiful photos…they look like movie stars!

Someone has to be in charge ( of everyone ) and we all know it’s Jamie.

Beautiful faces, each and every one. I might call that face of Jamie’s the famous “Stink Eye”! When you get that look from the boss, you’d better get cracking’! Jody’s sweet expression immediately following was perfect. She sure looks as if she is enjoying her meal.

They are truly spectacularly beautiful creatures. Love and hugs to you all……

In regards to my previous comment about Jamie…maybe she was just feeling grumpy that day? 🙂

Concluding with Her Majesty dismissing us with Her royal wave. Beautiful!
