Entertainment and a snack

December 27, 2017 by Anna

This morning Jamie piled her walnuts, pecans, Brazil nuts and almonds into a little red wagon so she could leisurely eat her forage and examine her extensive “library” of picture books at the same time.

You gotta love Jamie, she is simply too much with her snack wagon. Does she give the other chimps library cards to check out her books?

Oh, I love to eat and read at the same time too! Jamie, you’re too adorable!

Jamie is the most unbelievable chimp on earth. She always surprises us with her vast abilities. She is multitasking! Amazing. Maybe she would be a good write- in for Governor of Washington! Ha, Ha,

Cool cat Jamie. My kind of chimp. Books. Lots. Snacks. Lots. Only thing missing is blankets. Lots. And a cuppa tea. Very sweet. Love her!!

How absolutely fascinating that Jaime would find a way to eat her nut snacks, plan a functional use for her wagon, and, look at her picture books at the same time! It certainly shows that these very bright animals can plan ahead, multi-task, and, actually view pages in a book by turning the pages! Is Jamie the only one of the 7 chimps who looks at picture books?

She is definitely the most interested, but I’ve seen others sneak peeks from time to time.
