The slow days of summer

August 28, 2017 by Katelyn

Hot days call for lounging, moving as little as possible and waiting for any and every breeze.

Diana captured these priceless photos of Jody:

Foxie got a new wild purple haired troll doll and chose to lie next to the caging for a game of pass the troll so as to move as little as possible:

The pictures of Jody are so-ooo-oo-o funny. A nice break from all the sadness going on in Texas.

I agree. Water in the pool! I like how you can see Jody’s head-to-toe size of the chimps because we all know the size of those turquoise pools. Remind me, is she the smallest?

What a terribly hard life they lead…(not) ;o)

Hi Francoise, Once in awhile we fill the turtle pool with water and cups and the chimps enjoy taking drinks throughout the day, but they don’t enjoy getting wet and playing in the water. Jody has deemed it a great nesting site in the past and who can blame her? Foxie and Missy are actually the smallest coming in at around 98 lbs. 🙂

She’s waiting for you to fill the pool
