Just Scootin’

July 13, 2017 by Kelsi

This morning while we cleaned, Burrito kept himself entertained by playing with a toy scooter that we just recently received from a supporter.

Vicky from Save the Chimps gave us the inspiration to try out the scooter at CSNW. If you haven’t done it yet, check out this amazing video that the Florida sanctuary posted.

OUCH! He took a few good bangs to his poor thigh and head, goofy guy! I was hoping he was going to sit on it and scoot across the room. That technique would up the ante in a game of chase wouldn’t it? Thanks for the great video!

What if you show that vid to Burrito? Maybe he’d put it together to ride!! hahaha Hugs to you all

Hours of banging that thing around should drive you caretakers nuts. If you sat on it yourselves and showed him that it can be a neat ride, do you think he would try it out himself?

When I saw “scooter” in the title I admit that my heart sank… I had visions of a tricycle-type toy, which would have surprised me at CSNW. Imagine my relief when I saw what it actually is! I wouldn’t deny fun for Burrito and his friends wherever they get it.

Do you ever show the chimps videos of themselves?
