Hi Barb – Do you mean the rooms they were in while we were preparing the party, or the cages they lived in when they were in the lab? If the former, please know that they had access to many other areas at that time. The chimp house has many different enclosures or varying sizes that the chimps have access to concurrently, just as we have different sized rooms in our houses.
It was nice to see Christmas festivities at your site, but I felt so bad when I saw the small cages that the chimps were in.
