Last week you may recall that I captured Foxie snuggled up napping on the heated floor with her dolls, Kate and Alana (Dora’s friends 🙂 ). I also promised there were A WHOLE LOT of photos of that scene to follow. So here goes…
When Foxie plays she often likes to lie on her back in a tiny chimpanzee ball repeatedly tucking her arms and legs into herself and then kicking and flailing them about as she snorts and laughs. On this day, after she woke up she rolled over and decided to engage her dolls in her play session (JB wrote a fantastic blog post on Friday about chimps and imaginary play). What ensued was part joy, part magic, and all Foxie:

Isn’t she beautiful? Isn’t Foxie’s joy contagious? Isn’t it heartwarming to see her so happy and content with herself and her surroundings? Thank you CSNW for giving Foxie a warm floor, an endless supply of dolls and a life where her imagination can run free forever!

Photos are fabulous but I learned something new in this blog: that they have heated floors. As a person who is always cold, I can appreciate this as I am sure they do too. You people think of EVERYTHING. fOXIE LOOKS SO HAPPY AND CONTENT

What a gorgeous set of pictures! To see Foxie obviously relaxed, happy, laughing. Your hearts must swell with love and joy when you see this firsthand. Alas, however, it is bittersweet. My first thought is that this is how Foxie would have played with her babies. On her back holding them in the air, tickling and oozing love. Gladly she has her precious dolls. The best we can do for her under the circumstances. Thank you for these photos and for all you do!!
