Looking out

May 15, 2016 by Keri

It’s pretty drizzly and rainy at the sanctuary today. For the chimps, that means there has been quite a bit of sitting around, looking out, pondering, wondering…

I can see where that might seem like the case, and with chimps in captivity that is a big concern of ours. Rest assured, the chimps did spend time on Young’s Hill when it was not raining (5 walks for Jamie, Burrito and human caregivers) and played too. Like humans, I think sometimes it’s just nice to have a day to just relax and lay around.
