Hello to all the CSNW blog readers! My name is Anna Wallace and I’m the newest staff caregiver to join the team. I’m really excited to be going through training here and getting to know more about the Cle Elum 7! Today, as you may already know, is my first blog post. Not only is it my first blog post, but it is also my first time taking photos of these very photogenic beings. I thought I would share with you my favorites from the series of pictures I took this afternoon under Elizabeth’s watchful guidance.
Handsome Mr. Burrito, lounging in the portrait studio.
I hope to share many more photos and a more detailed account of my training in the weeks to come!

Nicely done, Anna! I think the hardest part would be figuring out how to operate that camera (at least for me anyway)!!

Hi Anna, so nice to “meet” you! What a wonderful adventure you are diving into. You must feel a little like Alice steeping through the looking glass. You have entered a world of trolls and boots, cat tails and green sweet grass, pant hoots and food grunts, night bags and blanket nests. Oh how I envy you!!! : ) Great photos today (Nothing melts my heart like Negra and her droopy lip!) — I think you’ll be a natural. Have fun!, good luck and I look forward to more of your posts.

Good luck Anna! It’s hard work for sure! But a labor of love! And what we give is returned 10-fold! I’m a new volunteer at Save the Chimps in Fort Pierce, Florida, and I so enjoy seeing a glimpse of the chimps lives at CSNW!! Thank you for sharing!!

Congratulations on your new job, Anna! I’m sure the chimps at CSNW will love you just as much as the chimps at Fauna did!
