Lil’ Bigfoot

February 5, 2015 by Elizabeth

When Missy is walking out on Young’s Hill, she will often stop every once in awhile, stand up bipedally, and turn around to see what’s going on behind her. We’re not sure why she does this but it’s very endearing. She spends so much time bipedal that she’s earned the nickname Lil’ Bigfoot.

Missy certainly has found her place in her Sanctuary life,
she has such a strong friendship with Annie, its remarkable at how well they all have adapted to Young’s Hill and to their lives in general, ~
It very heart warming to see them thrive, and heal, and live day to day in peace, and love, and in the safety CSNW provides them – it truly is a privilege to follow their journey via this web page,
Its UNIQUE, up close and personal –
we get to learn about chimps and we get to see them grow and develop and thrive-
with out ever imposing upon their personal space, –
thank you CSNW staff for for sharing their lives as intimately as you do,
I know I really appreciate it,
Ive learned 80% of my chimp knowledge right here, –
