Troll love

September 18, 2013 by Katelyn

Foxie seems to treat each new troll or Dora doll as if it were a unique treasure. When she receives a new “baby” she immediately stares at them incredulously, whimpers softly as she rubs their belly and kisses them, and then rubs them against her belly, periodically gazing at them adoringly. Just as Foxie never tires of her trolls and Dora dolls, I never tire of seeing her with them. But then I never tire of anything Foxie (or any one of the chimpanzees!) does.

Foxie is thinking she is blessed too have another baby to love. She would have made a fantastic mother. Love you Foxie. <3

I was wondering with all the little ones that get orphaned, wouldn’t it be possible to try to introduce a baby chimpanzee to the gang? I think it would do wonders for the entire group. They would finally be able to nurture a baby of their own. I bet they’d make wonderful parents.

It breaks my heart to think of the loss she must have felt when her babies were taken away…you can tell from these pictures what a wonderful mother she would have been…..
