Today’s enrichment theme was “pre-made nests”, meaning the caregivers built nests based on the things each of the chimps typically incorporate into their nests, including the items in the nest, types of blankets, blanket placement and nest location. It was a lot of fun to set up! While the chimps love to build their own nests, it’s fun to mix things up a little bit every once in a while and do something kooky. All of the chimps went to their “correct” nest, which was very satisfying to us goofy humans! I would love to give you all the details, but we thought it might be fun to see how well YOU know the chimps instead. Can you guess who’s nest is who’s? While some are trickier to guess than others, there is a solid hint in each photo.
ok, I’m guessing from top to bottom: Negra, Foxie, Jodie, Annie, Missy, Jamie and Burrito. How’d I do?

Negra’s Nest: Her favorite food; peanuts.
Foxie’s Nest: Troll Dolls, Dora Doll, prefers concrete floor.
Jody’s Nest: Big nest, stuffed animal, pillow, and loves cereal.
Annie’s Nest: Who could sleep without a picture of your BFF (Missy) next to your bed?
Missy’s Nest: Missy loves to put socks on her feet and arms when she’s being playful.
Jamie’s Nest: Dead giveaway with the boots (hmmm???, do I recognize those fancy white boots??)
Burrito’s Nest: He loves his popper toys.

WOW!! What a great way to test us!! I know I got Foxie, Jamie & Mr. B’s right but I’m not up to par on Negra’s, Jodie’s, Annie’s or Missy’s. (Shame on me!!).
Looking at Annie Norris’ reply though……….looks like she’s on the money!!
That’s becaue she has spent time getting to know them and now volunteers at CE7.
I got most of them too but then Annie’s list…(cheat sheet) :)…made it easy for us!! This was fun…thanks…what’s really amazing is that the chimps picked out their human made nests right on!
Wow! I am so impressed!! Annie Norris was spot on! The only thing that could be added is that Burrito also loves wooden toys. Great job everyone!! 🙂

I’m late on this. But this is my guess, The nests are such accurate depictions of the chimps creations,, Great enrichment ladies,,the chimps must of looked and thought, WHAT the heck is this.!
I think FOXIE will catch up with the others,,she is still beginner nest maker, I recall the blog when Jackie informed us of the great event re Foxie making a nest as they were leaving,
