As we’ve mentioned in other posts, Negra has been the most hesitant to fully embrace Young’s Hill, but today she was the first one out of the raceway and sat for quite a long time on the log bridge enjoying the breakfast lettuce forage.

What a treat! I was just thinking about Negra the other day and how much I have been rooting for her to get outside and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air more. What a beautiful picture and perfect serendipity!

Is that a lettuce bribe I see :). That’s ok, one way or another it’s great to see her getting out.
Sara Lissabet, Fairfax says
How wonderful she’s starting to feel safe and comfortable out in the sunshine!

Look at her, what a beautiful sight to behold,, Negra has come so far.. in the 9 or 10 months that I’ve fo been following the chimps lives,, they’ve all healed ,grown and continue to develop and expand their horizons,,Negra, certainly has been coming into her own,,
her sense of self, certainly has, and continues to evolve,
,as her self confidence, truly becomes apparant in her movement on the hill.. Its so very wonderful NEGRA being so serene, content, and feeling at home.. so glad Jamie has been giving Negra reassurance when its required, these seven chimps certainly do love one another,
