Volunteer Connie brought corn on the cob for the chimps’ lunch today. Corn is one the chimp’s favorites so it was a great lunch for everyone.

Yes, every face showed great pleasure! Have they ever gotten it cooked (cooled of course) ? I wondered if they would like it even better that way. Also, do they ever get to have popcorn?? I wondered if they liked corn in one form if they’d like it (and probably have fun with it!) in another.

They do like cooked corn on the cob, though I believe they like it raw better. We give them popcorn from time to time as well, which they like, though it’s not a favorite. It often is in the nightbag mix.
