Devoted Friends

May 8, 2012 by Sarah

The chimps are lucky to have a huge crew of fans, supporters and volunteers as part of their family. I’m always blown away by the generosity of time, sweat, and emotion that our volunteers display. It’s hard work. Today volunteer Seana went above (literally) and beyond by chasing Jamie around the Hill. Twice. That is one impressive workout.  If you’re somewhat local (meaning you can commit to coming out to the sanctuary at least once a month), you too might be able to join the team. Learn more about our volunteer program here.

I think that Burrito is saying, “That was some kind of fun! Can we do it again? Can we? Can we?” – Very sweet!

Thank you for your comments and support of the sanctuary! I am very lucky to be able to volunteer at this wonderful place. Jamie totally kicked my out-of-shape-rear-end. When it comes to the gym, or really exercise in general, lately I am totally unmotivated. Jamie is the best personal trainer ever. This was definitely a great way to make exercise feel like all fun and no work.
