Jamie’s current boot friend

April 4, 2012 by Jackie

Jamie never tires of boots, but her favorite bounces around (just like most of us shoe-lovers!). Her current favorite in her collection is this red pair, donated by new volunteer Carrie Parker (thanks again, Carrie!). She has several pairs that are relatively new and that are exciting to her, but today these were the only pair that satisfied her. She had me pull out her entire collection until I finally picked up the red pair, and she immediately jumped up and ran towards the food chute so I could give it to her. The girl knows what she wants!

I love chimp “genius” Jamie with or without boots. Have been wondering if she still plays the replacement ukeleli (wrong spelling, but you know what I mean.)

The old ukelele was destroyed a few days after that blog post (chimps can be very destructive!). Supporter Leslie recently found another one and is going to send it our way. Can’t wait to see if she’ll play it!

That’s funny that I recently had to stop volunteering, but you got another Cari/Carrie Parker to take my place! Given the name, she must be awesome! I miss you all, furry and non-furry! xoxo Cari Parker

How I wish I could get inside Jamie’s head and know what makes her prefer certain boots over others!

Look at that pretty face of Jamie, sheer contentment.
Boots make her so happy, then so be it. Enjoy , Jamie..

Red is my favorite color. I love how happy Jamie gets over boots. Oh, face it, I love Jamie xoxox

I love it when she puts her boots in her hip pocket for safe keeping haha. Love that chimp!

What a treat to log on (from Germany!) to see Jamie enjoying the red boots. Can’t wait to head over again!
