Annie the Acrobat

February 26, 2012 by Jackie

Annie spent a great deal of time this morning doing yoga stretches in her nest:

Then, as we were getting ready to let the chimps out on Young’s Hill, the chimps got so excited!

Annie offering reassurance to Missy:

Then they got so playful!

I’m not completely sure why, but I love their hand- like feet. 🙂 And I never would’ve thought that chimps were flexible enough for what looks like morning yoga. Thank you guys so much for sharing their world with us.

Jackie, these are lovely photos–thank you so much. I love Annie and Missy together. Annie looks so comfortable with her stretches and the last photo of her above is so sweet.

What great shots of those amazing feet! We humans got the raw end of that deal when we evolved with the feet we have. I’d much rather have feet-that-can-fill-in-as-hands-as-needed!

Love that smile on Annie’s face!
