How to initiate play

March 12, 2011 by Jackie

Given the fact that Foxie is probably the most playful chimp I’ve ever known, normally one would not need the following instructions. But I suppose they could be good to keep around, just in case. 🙂

I’m glad it was nice enough today to have the barn doors open and the wind chimes sound great. How could you ever refuse Jamie when she wants something?? So glad she was able to get Foxie to play with her.

    Miss you all……..

That’s brilliant. I love Foxie. She seems such a sweet heart

I love the troll blanket too.

I can never get enough of the sound of their laughter. That snicker of Foxie’s when she has the troll sheet is priceless! I could watch them play for hours and hours.

It is great to see how they go about making others play with them and be in a playful mood. The troll covered sheet is something else to instigate a game with.

Marie and I have just spent the last 5 days down at Monkey World and seen again how blankets worn on your head do actually start games. Little Bart who is coming up to 4 yrs old plays with whoever he can in his group. This week Clin (29) and sister Eddi (9) have been seen the most. He did try pinching Busta (No.2 to Paddy Barts dad) blanket but it didnt work. He doesn’t give up though if he wants to play as with Foxie and Jamie if you persist you will get a play mate.
