Since Jamie loves projects and seems to find great enjoyment in manipulating objects (she has even tried her hand at sewing), we thought she might enjoy watching us knit.

What a good idea to show her knitting, she never took her eyes off your hands.
Theresa says
Great enrichment idea! I wouldn’t be surprised if our smart girl could pick up knitting in no time!
Linda (Portland, OR) says
The first thing she did was put it on her head. QUICK………………….someone knit that beautiful creature a hat!! I’m “knitting” challenged, but I’ll buy the yarn if someone wants to do the knitting!!
Julie Harding says
Great idea for our “tool” girl!!! Oh, how you tease us bloggers with such short snippits! I’ll put my daughter on that knitting detail! It’s wonderful how a new generation of knitters are emerging.

Bravo of thinking up yet another interesting thing for enrichment. How about using those gigantic knitting needles? You can really make some progress quickly – mile a minute.,…..and Jamie could see what you are doing easier.

She was fascinated. I would love to really know what’s going through her mind. And I loved how she tried to wear it!
Gayle says
Oh Jamie… you’re amazing!! I love how focused she becomes. I bet she could knit up a storm just by watching that.
Carrie says
I absolutely love the intensity that she is watching with.
