What a busy young lady!! I kept waiting for her to put the mask on her eyes. Thanks for pointing out the mask sewing. That was great to watch. Thanks Jackie. And I loved the long length of the video. 🙂

She certainly is one fascinating gal to watch.

The mystery of their minds is so enticing…what is she thinking? Does she put things on because of her time with humans in her past life? Is she teaching or encouraging behaviors in any of the other chimps? The “mask sewing” – was that instinctual or learned behavior? These questions keep me coming back for more knowledge and insight into the minds of the Cle Elum 7 🙂

I was watching the video and I thought that Foxie was blowing a lot of raspberries, then I realized it was a drill, oops!

Did anyone else notice that Jamie would put the same color of hair band on each hand for i.e., the pink and then the red. At least we know Jamie’s not color blind.

yeeahhh ~ are those the masks & little hairbands that I sent!?!
remember months back when Jamie was supposedly imitating Diana’s toe ring (blog post: https://chimpsnw.org/?p=1194#comments )
that’s why I sent those hairbands .. in this video perhaps Jamie would like some bracelets instead … so thrilled to see this ~ GO GO JAMIE!

I wasn’t sure who sent those until you said that, Dee. Those ARE the hairbands & masks that you sent. I had just gone through all that stuff and handed it out that day! I know they were yours because the packaging for the hairbands had a note on it that said “For Jamie– toe rings??” I love it!! and so does Jamie!! 🙂 When I arrived this morning, she was still wearing the mask around her neck! Did you send the socks, too (mens, knee high with stripes)? Missy was wearing them today! I think I got a video of it– I’ll be sure to post that in a few days… I, unofficially, named today “New” Day, since all (or most) of the enrichment we put out was the new stuff It was definitely a hit! Thanks for all the great stuff!

woo-hoo! you’re more than welcome Jackie!
so thrilled that ya dug the box of goodies & must say it feels really good to be a tiny part in helping keep their minds occupied, even if only for a minute or two..(truly wish that I was able to provide more for them) .. oh yeah a bunch of socks, striped & polka-dotted also!
so happy that Missy liked them, hope she goes for the colorful striped leg warmers too! hope that ya get a chance to post that video of her, would love to see it!
thanks Jackie for this post & taking the time to reply, I do appreciate it.
