Bubblicious

September 17, 2009 by Elizabeth

Occasionally we fill some containers with water and a tiny bit of soap (plant-based and non-toxic, of course) and put them out for the chimps to enjoy. Jamie sometimes likes to dip a brush in the soap and scrub the floor, caging, enrichment, etc. Jody, on the other hand, likes to put large quantities of bubbles in her mouth. Today, she even convinced Annie to try it out.

That’s hilarious! They look like we’d look if we were dipping in to a vat of melted chocolate — or whatever your vice is. 🙂

hilarious – too funny .. .. yeah Amy, like scraping the bowl of leftover vanilla frosting (that’s what it looked like) .. she was totally diggin’ it
and the look on Annie’s face ..

It’s funny how the video reminds us all of something wonderful. It reminded me of when you get the real, freshly spun cotton candy.
Either way………………….they were enjoying it to the fullest and we enjoyed watching them!!

Face it though…………….we are so in love with these chimps. We’d watch a video of them doing nothing but staring back at us!!

    We’ll never get enough!

You caught the moment perfectly Elizabeth. Great job!!

You’re right, Linda. I’d have no problem watching just their beautiful faces!!! This video reminded me of freshly whipped cream..mmmm!

Reminds me of cotton candy too. You call tell they like the sensation of the bubbles in their mouth! I would love to know what is going through their minds as they eat. I will never tire of watching these guys enjoying life again. Even if it is just sitting there relaxing. The 7 have captured many hearts and we are definitely addicted!

You are soooo right. Just watching the 7 do anything is candy to my eyes. Or I guess chocolate would be a better word for me. I agree with the vat of chocolate analogy! Just dip in and enjoy the wonderful taste, the feel of the bubbles, and every other sensation it is causing. Thanks Elizabeth.

LOL, these girls are to funny! That’s right Negra, lick them fingers off. It may have to do with the way the texture of the bubbles feel in their mouths. The bubbles doing the pop-poppity-pop against their tounges would be kinda similar to poprocks.

Oops sorry Annie, you’re not Negra.
