Hee! Looks like a very successful enrichment day! And Missy … bipedally transporting that block of ice around … so cute! She was NOT going to let go.

It always amazes me how strong they are. One handing a 20 lb block of ice!! Tough hands and strong arms!!! The ice must have been really special if it was as hot as it has been in western WA!!! Lucky girl to have a giant popsicle for afternoon amusement!

I agree with you Dee she was actively searching for a place to stash her booty. What a joy to watch this video, it’s great to look forward to something new everyday that I know will bring a smile to my face.

Missy and her ice block are hilarious! She was so focused on finding a good spot for her block….and carrying it one handed! Another example of how strong chimps are. I love that the pine branches were used to make a nest. What a great enrichment for the chimps!

Missy reminded me of a little old lady that kept moving a chair around in her living room. Couldn’t quite find the right place for it so she took it out on the patio! So fun to watch!

Such a joy to see Missy so busy and concentrated on hat she was doing. It is one of th ejoys of my life to see and know they are out of that horrible cramped lab.

Missy carried that thing all over the place!!!! And she climbed the rope with it to get to the upper level … talk about being strong. I love the crunching of the branches – and you can hear the birdies in the background. So pretty there.

What a great video! It was so fun to watch Missy trying to find just the right spot. I’m wondering if she thought someone took it when it melted and went looking for it?
