Negra’s spot

May 26, 2009 by Elizabeth

Negra has a favorite spot in the outdoor area where she can look out over the valley. She often sits there with a blanket covering everything but her face and gazes out. Today she took her raisin board there for some peace and quiet.

Such a joy to see her enjoying the view and sitting outdoors! Such a contrast from her environment a year ago!

Wow Elizabeth great video. Thanks for giving us a view of the valley that Negra enjoys looking at. I’ve always wanted to see the chimps viewpoint of their surroundings.

I wonder if she remembers her childhood in Africa as she sits and just takes in the view. After all she’s been through, she deserves all the peace, quiet, and time for contemplation she can get.

So peaceful looking! I’d love to hear what she is thinking, she’s so deep in contemplation and contentment.
Thanks Elizabeth. You captured the moment so well.
