Negra playing chase

April 16, 2009 by J.B.

If you received our latest e-newsletter, you know that Negra has been a little more active lately (if you don’t get the e-newsletter, you can sign up here). I thought I’d post another photo of Negra and Missy playing chase around the climbing structure. Missy usually has only one speed (fast), but she was nice enough to slow things down a bit for Negra’s sake. Afterwards, Negra took a well-deserved rest.

Oh! How wonderful! It is so great to hear about Negra’s extra activities these days. Another stunning example of what love, good food, and caring people can do. Thanks JB for the photos. Negra, have a good well deserved rest.

The last picture says it all. I know just how Negra feels, I have that same look on my face every day when I get home from work!! Great shots!!

Love the photos! What a beautiful face! Negra is coming around in her own time. Another example of how chimps are individuals just like humans. I really think Negra will become more active know that she has had a taste of fun. I am looking forward to a video of Negra laughing!
