Foxie and the boat bumper

April 14, 2009 by Diana

I’ve been wanting to post this for a few days. Elizabeth and I hung one of the boat bumpers in the play room the other day and tied a troll doll to it. Foxie and Jamie were the most entertained by it, and Jody tried to pull up the boat bumper from above (smart!). The video is of Foxie “boxing.” She wasn’t upset – she mostly seemed curious and appeared to want to see if she could get the troll off of the rope. She wasn’t counting on the troll bouncing back!

Try tying one of the troll dolls to a bungee cord and watch it go. Of course, it would probably bop somebody in the head and that wouldn’t be cool. I’m impressed that you all still come up with creative ideas.

after it konked her noggin, she seemed a tad bit miffed as she not so delicately tried to hit it back .. then looked around to see if anybody was watching as if slightly embarrassed… aww..

LOL…I love it! The delicate way she touched the doll to see what it would do before she decided to smack it back. Foxie is a pistol!

Oh Foxie! You are so much fun to watch. I wish I knew what was going on in that head of yours. She reminded me of the game of tether ball when she first started hitting the troll. And when she missed the big whack the last time it looked like she remembered what she was using to hit with and pulled the little troll doll in to cuddle. Thanks Diana for the great video.
