So much fun to hear Jamie laughing! I’m sitting her with a big ‘ole grin on my face. Looks like it was fun for you, too, Sarah 😉 Thanks for taking the video for us J.B.!
Great video! Chimp laughter will put a grin on your face everytime. Jamie so enjoys her new life. I absolutely love any video of the chimps. They always brighten my day. Thanks JB!
JB and Sarah, That was great! Yes those hoots are positively contagious. Who was next to her wanting to get in on the game? It is always so fun to watch these angels playing away. Thanks.
What a goof ball………….
Every blog post, photo and video warms my heart. I feel like I am beginning to know the blog commenters and thought I’d introduce myself.
I just joined the sanctuary supporters group around Christmas after seeing a short video of the chimps first snow. I sponsored Foxie. I can’t believe how important the Cle Elum 7 and blog and has become to me. I check for new blog postings hourly and have spent hours reading every post and comment. I can’t stop telling every one I know about the sanctuary and I hope that I can help bring in more supporters. I have felt a connection with chimps since I was a kid and Jane Goodall has been my hero forever.
I rented the video Chimpanzees:An Unnatural History last night and found myself crying through the whole thing. I live in Seattle (Kirkland) and hope to be able to drive over to volunteer on a regular basis once the pass is dependable.
I look forward to getting together to make enrichment items and doing whatever I can to help these precious chimps. I am so grateful to have found this avenue to make life better for at least a few of these beloved little brothers and sisters.
Is the Denice posting….Denise VW??????
Love it love it love it! I love that chimp laughter! It is the best. Jamie is such an inspiration of how to be happy. This ability must have helped her through those horrible years. Now it is all a bonus.
I had to applaud at the end of the video, not only is she enjoying herself but she gifts us with a smile on our face. Thanks, Jamie and Sarah.
LOL – I think most of that laughing comes from the (ch)imp named Sarah.
It’s hard to tell who’s more entertained here … 🙂
A friend just directed me to this site.
My son lives in CleElum and he never mentioned anything like this.
Do you allow visitors? I would love to come see the next time I visit.
Katmorrell ~ welcome! You sound like “one of us” already!! I had to laugh, reading your post….most of us have admitted our “addiction” to the chimps and this site and feel the same as you. Great that you live in Kirkland ~ watch the site for any potential new enrichment parties…we just had one before Christmas so I don’t know who will initiate the next one or where it will be located but keep a look out 😉
Hi Marian – There is no visiting. I was surprised last summer when I was out going to garage sales for stuff to give to the chimps, that a lot of people that live in Cle Elum didn’t know anything about them. Welcome aboard.
Welcome, Katmorrell and Marion. It is always so great when new CCCs (the name we have for ourselves…Cle Elum Chimp Chatters) arrive. It is an addiction but a fun one and one that hurts noone!
I also want to welcome you both. Yes it is an addiction but a good one! I ditto Shelly K on the enrichment party invitation. Keep watch because we will post it.
And Katmorrell, I also live in Kirkland and volunteer when the roads are open. Hooray, another potential carpooler.
