Laura Bee makes fun and unique animal-friendly bags and accessories and lets you customize them! There are so many cool things to buy and create for yourself and as gifts for others at this store – you really should check it out in person, and do it today to help the sanctuary! You can see more about this shopping day and others on our help us fundraise page.

I just checked out their website & this looks like a shop I will LOVE!! I am going to try to make it there today! But, if I can’t, I will definitely go there another day! They are so wonderful to be donating 20% of today’s sales! Thank you Laura Bee Designs!!!
Yay! Laura bee is literally one block from my house. I will definitely be walking over there today! I’ve bought stuff there before and she is great! Very creative and personable. And there is a mascot (her pug) that gets to hang out in the shop! Very cute!
I saw the picture of her pug, Otis, on the website!! He is so cute!! They donate to the Seattle Pug Rescue when you buy a certain cute little bag that has puppydogs on it. I think I will get one of them!
Otis! I couldn’t remember his name. Thanks, Audrey! I’ll have to look at those pug bags.
OK this sounds like my kind of shop. Unfortunately I am in the Olympic National Park at a teacher conference. (I know it is tough but someone had to go!) I will definitely have to go over when I come back to Seattle area.
I just got back from a day of hiking and am sipping wine while waiting for dinner. There are a few of us teachers who knew what to bring to keep out the cold. The others are in the lodge having hot chocolate!! 🙂
Jeani, you sound like my kind of teacher 🙂
So, I ended up at the Laura Bee shop and they were pretty busy. Other people were there talking about the sanctuary and that’s why they came that day. She has bags that are already made and you can just buy it right then., but I took the “custom” design route and picked one of the bags and picked my own colors and trim etc. She has a ton to choose from and she and the staff are really helpful with color combinations. It was really fun. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a new handbag. My bag will be here in about 3 weeks. 🙂
Jeani ~ I wish I was with you!! It’s so beautiful over there!! You sound like my kind of teacher, too!! – a nice glass of wine after hiking sound like a perfect day!! 🙂 I hope the conference is a good one!
Jill, did you get to pet Otis? 🙂 It sounds like you had fun!!
I sent this website to my friends & everyone that has responded loves it!! I can’t wait to go shopping at Laura Bee’s!! It sounds like the fundraiser was a success!!
No, unfortunately Otis wasn’t there 🙁 Laura said she decided to leave him home that day in case it was too busy. (And it was very busy) She said he gets a little too excited. I’m sure he will be there when I go pick up my bag.
