Dora’s birthday yesterday started off strong with mangoes for breakfast. Krissy’s blog video yesterday included the mango feast, with Dora getting the most out of her mango pit.
There were other components to the day to enjoy, captured in these photos by staff:

Avocado and coconut ice cream, adorned with flowers and blueberries:

It’s clear that Cy thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream:

Sabrina and Kelsi brought flowers from their gardens:

It’s unclear what happened to the pool of flowers between the photo above of George and the one below of Terry, but it appears someone had a flower feast:

Meanwhile, in Ellensburg, yesterday was also the Pride Parade! Like last year, the sanctuary shared a float with CWU’s Primate Awareness Network (PAN):

Patti and Benny:

Volunteers and staff feasted on picnic food made by supporter Ozzie Slim. It was a food and love-filled day for all! 🏳️🌈

Looking through these photos I feel a little bit like Cy, I am trying to take it all in, all of it, to the last drop! Your food presentations are simply unbelievable! The avocado and coconut ice cream bowls look delicious. But the pool of floating flowers is simply one of the most gorgeous ideas I’ve seen. Wow! I am not surprised it was popular and so happy you captured the “Before” photo for all of us to see. You pour your hearts into these special celebrations and everyone, even us or should I say especially all of us, truly appreciate it.
After you complete your party catering duties, off you go to celebrate within your community. Amazing. Even sweet little Benny joins in the fun. Yay!!
Oh, what a beautiful extravaganza with birthday :birthday: celebrations for darling Dora complete with mouth watering treats, then roses and ice cream indeed and to complete the festivities it was off to Ellensburg for the Pride Parade.?? It all looked so very inviting and community spirited I just wish I was there.
Hats off to everyone who made these special events such a rip roaring success. Yay !!!
Sorry, those two question marks in my comment were meant to be two :two_hearts: hearts. Most annoying when thst happens.
Considering how much Dora loves roses, I hope she got more than a couple of those! What a beautiful assortment, ladies! Thank you for bringing those in!
And ice cream! I’ll bet they were over the moon. Did Foxie like it too?
I lije seeing the pic if Bennie’s Day Out! Looks a real happy chappy.
