Not Another Clip Show

January 27, 2026 by Chad de Bree

Staff are conducting several training meeting this afternoon, so please excuse me for the short posting. So today’s blog and video is going to be a hodgepodge of clips and photos that haven’t found their way into a blog due to either length or missing context.

Misc. Photos:

George (L) and Cy (R) eating their breakfast chow in the Oakwood Greenhouse window while watching their caregivers clean the Lupin Playroom.
Gordo sitting in a modified box waiting for his time to join the integration group.
The view from the space separating Young’s Hill and the Bray a couple of weeks ago. It made me feel like I was in the movie “Tron.”
Mora (Mave + Dora) having a dinner date when they were first together the other week.

I’m glad you created this compilation, Chad! I will never tire of seeing Neggie swing herself up onto that platform! She could take the stairs- she’s tired, after all, she’s going back to a snuggly bed. But she still swings up!
And seeing Jamie play with Foxie’s toes while she’s doing a very serious patrol is also really cute.
And it was also nice to see Mave’s silly spin, we don’t often see her sillier side. Did Dora teach her that spin?

And Georgie is so comfortable that he chooses to have lunch sitting right next to the only person who could steal all of his chow without any excuses!

Thank you for sharing these photographs and short-form videos. Seeing Neggie hoist herself up by the firehose vines with her breakfast, watching Maeve and Willy spin about, and looking at Burrito play tag with one of his human friends has really made my day.

How great it is to see George with a breakfast buddy considering he ate alone for so many years. Thanks CSNW.

I thought it was like “George is siiting at the cool kids’ lunch table!”

Seeing these clips was the coolest. Thanks Chad. I saw the gang doing things I’d never seen before. Willy B spinning while circling (I was dizzy watching him!), Negra’s bountiful firehose swing was Olympic gold and I always love seeing her with her pudding cup. Mave spinning on the firehose seemed so silly for her. Not sure I’ve ever seen anyone spin like that. Last but not least Gordo’s food puzzle technique was brilliant! He has fun smacking it around and then he gets to play “find it”. Very funny! Please feel free to share your photo stash anytime!

Willy looked like he was on one of those spinning teacup rides!
Was that Jamie grabbing Foxie’s foot on the patrol? Seems like usually it’s the other way around! Usually Jamie’s the one that’s all business!
Also… Bubbie. ? It’s impossible to see him and not smile!

Firstly that icy fencing photo is a brilliant piece of photography.
Poor Gordo sitting on the box looks like the lonely boy with no friends. I felt bad for him!
And I need a Burrito to help keep me fit!!

    Hey Chad,
If this is the result of : “sorry I don’t have time to write a blog!”, I don’t think anybody minds my friend….Anytime!
I LOL-ed at Gordo’s technique to get the nuts out of that puzzle….it worked just fine.
And I loved Mave and WillyB dancing and Mave spinning. Reminds me of the brackdance Mave did when she first arrived at CSNW with her pals. She is a spinner alright.
Then those cute little screams that George makes; adorable.

Mave and WillyB spin-o-rama is funny as heck. I’d love to be the one playing footsie with Burrito. The laughter is so heart warming. You guys are breaking me up here, so damn good to see these chimps being treated so well and better yet, watching them react and embrace it. WOW….Thanks so much.
