Fun with Sheets

February 2, 2025 by Diana

The ghost game never gets old for Missy! I had to do a double-take when I was watching the security cameras on Lucky’s side. It’s usually Rayne who plays under and with blankets and sheets, but there Lucky was having a great time as her groupmates continued to sleep. I hope you enjoy the video!

These little moments of the chimpanzees doing spontaneous joyful things are what keeps me going. You can see some of these moments LIVE via zoom on Valentine’s Day. Learn more and register here.

Missy has a mischievous streak. She cracks me up. She makes me think of ET going as a ghost for Halloween. :laughing:LOL.

Rayne will have to teach Lucky some fun things to do with sheets. I wanna see a Lucky ET.

Eight years and twelve days later, Missy the Ghost reprises her spectral visit to Annie.

Speaking of perennial classic traditions, what’s the word from Her Majesty? When (or, perhaps I should write “if”?), Negra stirred from her nest this morning, did she see her shadow? I’m hoping she did, if only because it appears that Young’s Hill and the Bray could use more snow for another six weeks.

Wasn’t that her and Burrito grooming in the window? Hard to see, but that’s what I think. Which means we can interpret it as a good sign?(she says, hopefully)

You are so right! Ghost Missy never, ever gets old. I think it is great she still enjoys haunting the loft and other quarters of the sanctuary. But it’s even more wonderful that after all these years, Annie still loves Missy. Some friendships last forever and day. After seeing Missy’s pancake maneuver, how could you not love her. (I sure do!) And then there’s Lucky, busy playing ghost all by herself and enjoying every minute without disturbing whoever that is peacefully sleeping next to her.

The long-awaited return of Ghost Missy! I love seeing Annie and Missy play together, their friendship is just so beautiful.
Lucky playing under the sheet reminds me of doing the same as a kid!
