Oodles of Fun!

September 13, 2019 by Kelsi

Oodles: (Noun) a very great number or amount of something. For example, I have oodles of photos!

Guys, what a week! It has been a little crazy here at Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest or at least on the human side. It’s becoming cold and flu season and it took some of our team out this week. But, we made it to Friday and rest assure I have a oodles of extra photos from this week! Who wouldn’t want to look at chimp photos to ease into their weekend!

Also if you have ever wondered how can you could help these amazing & wonderful chimpanzees, a very simple way is to buy items off our amazon wish-list! An example could be: we have three more chimpanzees, which meaning we go through produce a lot faster. Donating Safeway gift cards is a great way to really helps us out!

Okay enough talking, let’s look at these chimps!

It is beginning to feel like fall. This morning I found Neggie wrapped up in blankets in the Green House:

Burrito at Annie’s party:

Jody catching the warm sun in the morning before Annie’s party:

Jody at Annie’s sunflower bash and foot full of celery:

and sunflowers:

Annie:

Foxie with a new tiny troll doll that she loves:

Mave in a hammock:

Honey B:

Willy B:

Fierce little Missy running off Young’s Hill:

Jamie eating her favorite, pears:

Aw, James, it’s finally pear season! Yay! I hope you got a whole one, boss! They don’t last long!
In the earlier photos in honor of Mrs. Garza, Kelsi, check out Annie’s *hands* in that last photo, where she’s reaching out to Missy! I’m always astounded by how cool Annie’s hands are, and I think that photo shows it better than any one I’ve seen yet! (Even though I know Katelyn posted those).

I hope everyone at CSNW feels healthy and well soon, you have far too much going on right now and can’t afford to be sick. Vibing you healthy thoughts!

Thanks for the great photos Kelsi. Linda commented on Annie’s hands and I have always found her hands to be so delicate and beautiful, like a ballerinas. I think Honey B has similar hands. Graceful, long and lovely. Honey B seems like a mix of Missy and Annie and perhaps Jamie too (in the brain department!)

You know, Kathleen, I was going to say that the top Honey photo was making them seem longer, too, long fingers, but then thought maybe I was just crazy! 😛

You folks…….owners/directors, keepers, and volunteers have my prayers, aka best wishes.

Your evolved souls surely are blessed for helping our once-bereft closest cousins and sharing the gift of your presence, your most precious possession.
