They know when it’s party day to look carefully around, and even outside, for treats and surprises! They are sooooo smart and I love watching them. Thank you so much for this window into their lives ~ blessings and love and hugs to you all!

It’s so silly, I can’t begin to express what it is that I feel when I see the chimps celebrating something as simple as Cynco de Mayo. I wish I could honestly express how deeply it touches me to see them enjoy such a silly celebration. The feeling I get in seeing Jamie butts up and head down in her blue barrel is something I can’t express but it touches me deeply to my core. And then to see the gates open and see the chimpanzees head out onto Young’s hill, with Annie walking tall and proud, well there are no words. Thank you everyone at chimpanzee sanctuary Northwest for giving them such joy and pleasure and amusement every day. And thank you for giving me such joy and pleasure and amusement every day in watching what they do in your care. You are the most amazing group of people and I can never thank you enough for what you do for the seven beautiful people

I love party days for this very reason. I think I’ve replayed just the beginning over five times already. Y’all need an app with options for us to listen to Burrito’s and Negra’s food-squeaking on continuous loops. ???????? And a food-squeak-off between those two wouldn’t be a half-bad idea!
Well done once again, Jeeb. ????

Your parties look like so much fun. It’s amazing all the things you think of putting together – the food and decorations – all with the chimps in mind. Looks like it was a great success! Thank you for all the hard work that goes into the festivities and for sharing the wonderful pictures and videos with us:)
