Play and Rest

September 24, 2009 by Elizabeth

This morning while waiting for us to clean the HUGE mess in the playroom (see yesterday’s blog video), Missy and Annie played in the front rooms. Jamie opted for a nap.

I love that I am starting to recognize each chimp. When I first joined the community last Christmas, they all looked the same….but after 9 months of watching videos and photos, I’m starting to see each one’s individual beauty. It feels great to fell like I “know” the chimps as individuals.

Thanks to all of you care givers for the wonderful peek into the chimps lives.

It has been on girlhood dream to know chimps and I get to do it now at 55. ( albeit from a distance through a video camera ).

See all you chimp lovers at the auction!

This video cracked me up! All I could think of was wrestling with my little brother (125 years ago). The indian burns, the head noogies and the wedgies. Those were the best!!

Another great video to make us all smile. You never let us down Elizabeth!!

Wonderful! It is so great to see the three of them….Jamie, Annie and Missy….being chimps.

Wow katmorrell you are coming to the auction. Please make sure you let us know which is you! 🙂

I agree Kat. I’ll be at the auction as well and would love to meet you. It is so good to see the chimps having fun. I was glad to hear them at the end when the water was off. And Jamie does sleep sometimes!!! Thanks Elizabeth.

Don’t know if it’s the lighting or the great camera but Missy and Annie are positively glowing – with happiness and good health!!!

See you all at the auction too!!!
