Jamie’s morning headstand

July 12, 2009 by Elizabeth

Jamie often does headstands early in the morning, perhaps to get the blood flowing. She holds them for an impressive length of time, occasionally even lifting her hands off the ground in an envious display of balance. This video captures the last minute or so of this morning’s headstand, which I believe lasted somewhere around seven minutes.

Maybe it’s morning chimp yoga, or does this crazy world look better from the bottom up? Maybe she stands on her head just because she can!!!! Jamie has such a busy mind she needs extra blood thru the day to power all her thoughts!! What a character and what character!!!

I bet she knows something that we don’t. Hmmm, maybe I should try to do this in the morning…

    Jamie-engar Yoga!

LOL – hip pockets aren’t quite as effective whilst standing on one’s head. 🙂

And even upside down, initiating play is irresistable. So cute!!

LOL…Maybe it does get the blood flowing. I admire her flexibility. I would break something if I tried that. I love how unique our Jamie is. I also love how Foxie runs her chin over the doll’s hair. Actually, I just plain love watching the chimps do anything!

I’m thinking I may need to try this the next time I go into a staff meeting! So much fun to watch! Thx Elizabeth!!
