Sleepy chimps

September 9, 2012 by Jackie

The chimps have been super mellow today- lots of nesting, grooming, and general quiet time. Elizabeth snapped a couple of really great pictures of Foxie and Negra resting on the catwalk in the playroom this morning. I love seeing the chimps so relaxed and peaceful.

Foxie:

Negra often lets her lips droop to one side when she’s relaxing. It’s almost like she’s so relaxed, she just lets gravity do the work.

Exactly what chimps should be doing on Sundays,, so happy and relieved for them now. Now that all is back to normal,, Negra, relaxes, without any worries, so glad the fire is past and these4 chimps are all back to theri regualr routine with out any disruptions, thanks again to the firefighters who literally and figuratively saved these chimps lives,, these chimps have been saved twice now, frst by CSNW.
upon rescue from the lab, and once again from the vicious fires, these chimps are so blessed to be loved and cared about and for by so many,,
