There are a handful of species who have demonstrated self-recognition, and chimpanzees are among this handful. Of the Cle Elum Seven, Foxie in particular enjoys mirrors.

Pretty things
1st pretty thing: Have you noticed the redesigned CSNW website!! High five to Clocktower Media for helping us bring the Cle Elum Seven to the world!
2nd pretty thing: We have SO many amazing items for the Celebrate the Seven Oct. 2nd auction. I promise to share more about this in the coming weeks. Today’s auction item sneak peak is a one-of-a-kind wallet with Foxie’s photo on it with a $50 gift certificate inside. Take a look on the Laura Bee Designs blog. Thanks, Laura!
Play Laughter for our Play Laugh Sponsors
Thank you to our Celebrate the Seven Play Laugh sponsors thus far. This video is for you, Deborah and Bruce Wagman and anonymous! Read about how you can become a sponsor on August 4th’s blog post.
Thank you, sponsors!
Thank you individual sponsors Barbara Lauterbach, who is a Play Face Sponsor (her sponsorship certainly made me produce a play face!) and an anonymous Play Laugh sponsor! Please consider joining the ranks and sponsoring the Oct 2nd Celebrate the Seven auction so all money raised will go to the sanctuary. I’d love to have a Food Squeak Sponsor – I will post a new video of Burrito food squeaking if someone sponsors at that level. See August 4th’s blog post for more info on the sponsorship levels.
We have three business sponsors so far as well: our wonderful printers who do so much for us – Abbott’s Printing, and two other awesome businesses who are helping to make the auction great: POM Wonderful and Theo Chocolate. Keep checking our events page for the latest.
Thank you to all!
Sponsor the auction – get some cool stuff
We’re looking for sponsors for the Oct. 2nd Celebrate the Seven auction so that all expenses are paid and all money raised will go directly to the sanctuary, and we want to give you some pretty great stuff for your sponsorship dollars. We already have some amazing auction items (more on that later), and it is going to be one heck of a gala event! Expenses are starting to accrue, though, and we need more sponsors! We are looking for both business and individual sponsors, each come with thier own set of benefits. I’ve pasted the benefit information below and included a link to download the pdf versions of the benefit documents. You can also download the pdfs from our event page.
Please email if you are personally interested or know of any businesses that may be interested in getting some good karma, some recognition and some unique benefits in exchange for their sponsorship.
Thanks!
