I took these photos a couple of weeks ago. When J.B. posted the video of Jamie nesting, I remembered I had them. It’s pretty unusual to see Jamie actually sleeping. She is so active and watchful that I often joke that she never sleeps.
But when the nest calls…

We’re fortunate at CSNW to have an abundance of these things right now, so please do send what you have to the deserving chimpanzees who are being cared for by the great folks at Save the Chimps! For dinner this afternoon, the chimps foraged on blueberries, cherries, and bowls of mashed potatoes with sundried tomatoes. Yum!
